Leo DICESARE – Drunk Driving

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On May 2, 2015 at approximately 7:50 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Wellington Road 124 at the Sixth Line of the Town of Erin.

Police investigated the driver of a 2014 Ford that entered into the check point and immediately detected the strong odour of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail.

The 90-day Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.

Leo DICESARE age 44 of Guelph-Eramosa Township has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 12, 2015 to answer to his charge.
