(Town of New Tecumseth, ON)- On Sunday the 3rd of May 2015 at 5:10 p.m., emergency personnel were called to a residence on Stewart Avenue in the Town of New Tecumseth for a woman in medical distress.
A female was located within the residence, and was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. On the 4th of May 2015, the female 41-year old, Anne GROSS of Alliston was pronounced deceased in hospital. A post mortem is being conducted at the Centre of Forensic Science in the afternoon on May 5th, 2015.
The circumstances surrounding her injuries are still under investigation. The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit are engaged, and continue to investigate. The scene remains to be held until the conclusion of the post mortem. Information will be provided as it becomes available.
