(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment responded to an incident located at a Concession 3, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at approximately 6:32 p.m., the Norfolk County OPP responded to an address after receiving a call from a concerned resident about an abandoned vehicle.
It was determined that a vehicle had been set on fire and was totally destroyed. A 2005 Hummer H2 was recovered by police and through investigation it was found that the vehicle had been stolen from the Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Police are reminding all Norfolk County residents to report any suspicious activity by calling the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
