(RED LAKE, ON) – On May 10, 2015 at approximately 10:57 PM, Red Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were on patrol in the area of Balmertown within the Municipality of Red Lake.
The OPP officers observed a vehicle driving around the parking lot of a grocery store.
Police stopped the motor vehicle and determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the Red Lake OPP Detachment for testing.
Richard LEBEAU, age 53 of Pass Lake has been charged with Over 80 Milligrams contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada, and Drive while Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
LEBEAU is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Red Lake on May 28, 2015 to answer to the charges.
