(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On May 9, 2015 at approximately 9:52 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop for a Highway Traffic Act violation.
The motor vehicle had been travelling on Petty Street, near Nairn Road.
It was determined that the driver of the Dodge pickup truck had been drinking alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver registered a “fail”.
The male was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for further breath tests.
As a result of the investigation, Steven JACKSON, age 41, from Adelaide Metcalfe, Ontario, has been charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released by way of a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on June 9, 2015.
