(Marmora, ON) – On May 12, 2015 at 2:25 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on Stirling-Marmora Road between River Heights Road and Forest Park Road in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake.
A car travelling northbound on Stirling-Marmora Road entered the southbound lane striking a southbound pickup truck head on.
The driver of the car, 65 year old Ronald SHEPPARD of Belleville, ON was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to hospital by EMS with serious injuries.
O.P.P Technical Collision Investigators attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
At 10:25 p.m. the highway was reopened.
