Rash Of Break And Enters

(Town of New Tecumseth, ON)- Overnight between the 15th and 16th of May 2015 the residents of the Town of New Tecumseth (Beeton) have reported several break-ins to unlocked garages and thefts from unlocked motor vehicles. The suspects were taking mostly alcohol however purses, wallets and electronic devices were reported stolen as well.

One of the victims reported that his vehicle wheel lug nuts had been loosened, which had caused his wheel to fall off on the 16th of May 2015. No injuries were reported.

At 6:00 a.m. on the 16th of May 2015, officers from the Nottawasaga OPP were called to a break and enter to a residence while the homeowners were sleeping. The victims awoke to a noise and they immediately dialled 911, as they observed two suspects in their living room. The suspects had entered through an unlocked door, and stole alcohol and a purse.

The OPP Emergency Response Team and the OPP K-9 Unit responded, after the suspects fled on foot in the Centre Street area of the Town of New Tecumseth (Beeton). The suspect track was unsuccessful, however the investigation is continuing.

The first suspect is described as, slim build, 5’6 tall, pointy nose wearing all black fitted clothes with a black balaclava and gloves. The second suspect is described as husky build, wearing all fitted black clothing with black balaclava and gloves and carrying a green duffle bag.
