(Municipality of Trent Lakes, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a motorist at a RIDE program yesterday afternoon just after 12:00pm. The officer noted a strong odour of marihuana inside the vehicle and ultimately seized a small amount of the substance and a pipe.
Benjamin Christopher SMALLWOOD (age 19) of the City of Kawartha Lakes was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. The accused is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Court on August 6, 2015
