(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Saturday, May 23, 2015 at approximately 11:55 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the Deals Surplus Store located on Hwy. 21 (Sunset Strip) in the Township of Georgian Bluffs in regards to a shoplifter.
The accused attended the store and had purchased a variety of items however she had attempted to exit the store with several unpaid items in her possession. She was confronted by a store employee who then called police.
Alison BOMMER, age 36, of the Township of Georgian Bluffs, was charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000.
She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, July 9, 2015.
