Community Mobilization is a term used now that encourages community members to work in partnership with the police service in their area. Community Watch is exactly that type of partnership. Community Watch is a group of volunteers that reports suspicious activity to police and prevents crimes. They are not a group that is run by the police service but works in partnership with them.
If you would like to volunteer and be a part of this community group please pick up a brochure at the police office.
