(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On May 26, 2015, just before 3:00 a.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a Ford Van on the westbound on ramp Highway 401 at Highway 40, for a speeding violation.
While the officer was speaking with the driver, 36 year old Ryan VANDERHILL, from Sarnia, it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages.
Subsequent tests indicated that the driver was over the legal limit and he will appear in a Chatham court on June 23, 2015, to answer to the charges of Driving With More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol In Blood, Driving While Ability Impaired and Speeding.
