(BRIGHTON, ON) –On May 29, 2015 shortly after midnight, Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of several males fighting in the area of Main Street. When officers arrived, all the combatants had left the area.
Police spoke to several witnesses and eventually located one of the participants, a 19 year old man, bleeding from an apparent stab wound in a parking lot near Elizabeth Street. EMS attended and transported him to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A subsequent investigation revealed another assault victim in which the knife was not used.
Officers located the suspect at his residence, arrested him and seized a silver ‘Kershaw’ folding knife.
Adrian BROSE age 18 of Brighton is charged with the following offences:
– Assault with a Weapon
– Assault
– Uttering Threats to cause bodily harm or death
BROSE was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brighton on July 7, 2015.
