(Township of Essa, ON)- On 26th May 2015 at approximately 8:55 p.m. Officers from the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an unknown male party who was observed involved in an indecent act by a number of witnesses.
The male was hiding behind a treeline at the Angus Splash Pad Park situated at Huron and King Street in the Township of Essa.
Officers attended the area immediately, however the suspect was not located. Further investigation has led police to make an arrest for the incident, and charges have been laid.
Michael SCOTT, 34-years old from the Township of Essa has been charged with, two counts of Criminal Harassment, Indecent Exposure to a Person Under the age of 16 and Indecent Act. He has been held for bail, and will appear in court on the 29th of May 2015.
