(Bancroft, Ontario) – On the 2nd day of June 2015, police officers with the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) executed a search warrant at a property in the Municipality of Highlands East.
Police located a total of 207 marihuana plants at that location, being grown both outdoors as well as within a shed on the property. The value of the drugs has been approximated as being sixty thousand dollars ($60,000).
Charged with production of cannabis marihuana, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act is Jeffery Redshaw of the Municipality of Highlands East. He was arrested and released on a Promise to Appear notice, with a scheduled first appearance date in court of the 14th of July, 2015.
