(South Glengarry) – On June 3, 2015 at approximately 3:11pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a transport trailer from a commercial property on Glen Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that overnight (June 2-3, 2015) an enclosed 53 foot transport trailer, containing a load of appliances (washer & dryers), was removed from the lot. Further information revealed that the truck used to take the trailer; a white International day cab tractor with Seaway Express logos, was stolen from the City of Cornwall (Cornwall Community Police Service investigating). Several other trailers on the property were also forcibly entered, no items taken.
The stolen unit is described as a 2000 Trailmobile 53’ fully enclosed trailer, white sides with brown rear doors and nose piece. The logo V.A. in white on an orange circle is affixed on the sides and rear door.
An investigation continues.
(South Stormont) – On June 3, 2015 at approximately 4:56pm, SD&G OPP responded to a report of an enclosed trailer taken from a commercial property on Moulinette Road, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that overnight (June 2-3, 2015) a new 7×14’ black “Stealth Liberty” enclosed cargo trailer was stolen.
An investigation continues.
