Truck, Trailer & Mower Stolen

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) County of Brant Detachment is warning residents of the County of Brant to lock it or lose it after a truck, trailer and lawnmower were taken from a Burford address.

On Friday, June 5, 2015 at approximately 6:09 p.m., the County of Brant OPP were called in response to a 2010 Ford pick-up truck, 2009 flatbed trailer and a gravely model 452 lawnmower which were stolen from a King Street East, Burford address in the County of Brant.

The pick-up truck was parked in front of the address with the doors unlocked and the keys in the ignition.

The County of Brant OPP would like to offer some tips to prevent you from becoming a victim:

· Always secure your vehicle doors when parking your vehicle, even if you are only going to be a few minutes.

· Always remove keys and valuables from your vehicle.

· Park in well lighted areas with high traffic.

· Clean out your garage and park your vehicle in it – locking your vehicle and the garage door.
