(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated an incident after being called to an Ireland Road, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
Between Friday, June 5, 2015 and Saturday, June 6, 2015, unknown suspects attended the Sher Lok Storage facility and gained entry by damaging a fence surrounding the property. Once inside, unknowns attempted to gain entry into two (2) motor homes that were located on the property however both attempts were unsuccessful.
The damage to both motor homes is estimated at approximately $1,000 dollars.
The OPP would like to remind all community residents that if they see suspicious persons or vehicles, try to obtain as much detail as you can, write down the person(s) description, the type of vehicle they are driving and the licence plate number.
Then don’t delay, call the police and report it. 1 – 888 – 310 – 1122 will put you in contact with the nearest O.P.P. Communications Centre to report the activity. OPP (677) on your cellular will also work.
