On Monday June 8, 2015 at approximately 3pm, a male and female entered a business on Eagle Street North in the city of Cambridge and were observed acting suspiciously by employees. When the male and female exited the business they were stopped and detained by the store manager and owner for shoplifting. The female was found to have stolen property on her person and was placed under arrest. When the arrest occurred the female became uncooperative. The male produced a bottle of bear spray and sprayed the store manager. The two fled on foot and remain at large. The store manager was treated at Cambridge Memorial Hospital and released with minor injury to the eyes.
