DRUGS SEIZED AT TRAFFIC STOP
(South Glengarry) – On June 9, 2015 at approximately 1:06am, a Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer intercepted a vehicle on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township. The stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
The male driver, Adam MACISAAC (18) of South Frontenac Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria at a later date.
DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A VEHICLE
(North Dundas) – On June 6, 2015 at approximately 12:30am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a fail to remain motor vehicle collision on County Road 7, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that a vehicle had been driven in a dangerous manner and collided with another vehicle and left the scene. No injuries resulted.
Coady FINDLAY (23) of South Dundas Township, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
He was released and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on July 7, 2015.
