(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 56 year old female and 57 year old female after police investigated an incident at a Robinson Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, June 15, 2015 at approximately 10:02 a.m., police responded to the address after receiving a call from a concerned member of the public.
Through investigation it was determined that two (2) females attended the residence and became involved in a verbal altercation with the homeowner. The verbal interaction then turned into a physical confrontation inside the residence resulting in minor injuries to the homeowner.
Members of the Norfolk County Crime Unit continued the investigation and as a result arrested and charged two (2) females.
Charged with break and enter and robbery with theft is 56 year old Lorraine MACKENZIE of Stornoway, Scotland, United Kingdom.
Charged with break and enter and robbery with theft is 57 year old Sylvia Joan MCGEARY of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
