(CENTRE WELLINGON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 15, 2015 at approximately 2:14 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a possible impaired driver travelling northbound from Guelph towards Belwood.
Police located the Hyundai that matched the description on Tower Street near Elora Street in Fergus, Centre Wellington Township.
Officers spoke with the female driver and determined that her ability to drive a motor vehicle was impaired by the consumption of alcohol and placed her under arrest.
Anna LAMMERDING age 60 of Guelph has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 7, 2015 to answer to the charges.
