(HUNTSVILLE, ON) Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigate boating collision were passengers received minor injuries.
On June 19, 2015 at approximately 1:27am Huntsville OPP responded with Lake of Bays Fire and Medavie Emergency Services Muskoka to a boating collision on Lake of Bays at Bigwin Island.
A ferry being operated by island staff was shuttling 16 passengers to the Rat Bay area on Lake of Bays when it struck the east side of Bigwin Island.
Two passengers were transported to a local hospital where they were treated for minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
