(TOWN OF MISSISSIPPI MILLS) – Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police officers are currently investigating a farming accident in the Town of Mississippi Mills that claimed the life of a young farmer.
June 19th at about 8:45 am Lanark County OPP officers were called to a family farm in Pakenham 10 minutes north of Almonte, Ontario. Along with paramedics they found a 24 year old man that had been injured in a piece of equipment. The man was air lifted to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Lanark County OPP continue the investigation along with the Ministry of Labour and the Ontario Coroners Office.
