(LITTLE CURRENT, ON) – On Saturday June 20, 2015 at around 7:30 am an officer of the Manitoulin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a break and enter that occurred in a residence in Little Current, Ontario. Upon investigating this break and enter information and complaints were received from a number of residents and business owners of other break and enters that occurred in the town of Little Current.
As a result of the officer’s extensive investigation, Shawn Blair MANDIGO, 22 years of age from Little Current, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following,
1. Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada – 10 counts.
The accused was remanded in custody and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice Bail Court in Gore Bay on June 22, 2015.
