(Belleville, ON)- On February 25th, 2015 officers with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 Eastbound in the City of Belleville, Hastings County.
The collision involved multiple vehicles. Investigation determined that a Dodge Journey was struck by a transport truck causing fatal injuries to Holly JEAN, the rear passenger in the Dodge. Another passenger in the Dodge received serious injuries.
As a result of the police investigation, the transport driver, 25 year-old Ravinder SINGH of Cornwall, has been charged with Dangerous Driving Causing Death and Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
SINGH is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Napanee on July 30th, 2015.
