At 12:30 AM on Febryary 6th, Wingham Police was requested to assist the OPP in locating a suspect with a snowmobile who was acting suspiciously in Morris Turnberry Township. The Wingham Police and Huron OPP were able to track the vehicle to a residence in Wingham where a suspect was located.
The snowmobile in question had been stolen from an address in Wellington County. OPP have charged a 34 year old Wingham man with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
