Wingham Police have charged a Wingham woman following an investigation into several alleged frauds. Police were alerted to one of the frauds on June 15th. The woman was obtaining product from stores by claiming to be someone else and obtaining credit or products. Investigation revealed that incidents occurred in Wingham, Londesborough, Listowel and Belmore. Margaret Beattie, age 34 of Wingham, was charged with Seven counts of Fraud under $5,000, one count of Transportation Fraud and six counts of Personation with Intent.
