Wingham Police are investigating an attempted robbery which took place on August 26th. A youth was walking home when he was approached by a white man, with black brush-cut hair, short beard, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall, wearing a black shirt, green pants and black shoes who demanded the youth’s running shoes. The man produced a knife and the youth turned and ran home and reported the incident to police.
