(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Friday the 24th of October 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a harassment complaint in the Town of Bancroft.
Investigation into the incident has resulted in a 57 year old female from the Municipality of Hastings Highlands being arrested and charged with criminal harassment and failing to comply with an undertaking. She was held pending a bail hearing on the 25th of October, where was released from custody with conditions. Her next court appearance is scheduled for the 03rd of November 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario.
The incident is a domestic investigation and the name of the person charged will not be released.
