(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating the theft of a John Deer riding lawn mower from a shed on a property on Coyne Rd, just south of Celtic Line in Municipality of Dutton Dunwich.
The theft occurred sometime between 4:30am and 6:50am on June 30th, 2015. Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked shed on the property and removed the riding lawn tractor and a jerry can of fuel.
Investigation indicated that a pickup was used to transport the tractor. A dark coloured pickup truck was seen pulling into the victim’s driveway earlier in the evening.
The riding lawn mower is valued at approximately $4000.
