(DRYDEN, ON) – On June 30, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Northwest Region Crime Unit, Child Exploitation Unit, Technology Unit and Dryden Detachment members executed a search warrant on Kellar Road in Wainwright Township in regards to an on-line child pornography investigation.
As a result of the search warrant, police seized a computer along with 2 external hard drives.
Gordon LOTZE (48 years old) of Dryden, Ontario has been charged with the following offences:
1. Possession of Child Pornography contrary to Section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code.
2. Accessing any Child Pornography contrary to Section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code.
3. Possession of Child Pornography contrary to Section 163.1(4) of the Criminal Code.
4. Imports, Distributes, Sells or Possess for the Purpose of Distribution or Sale any Child Pornography contrary to Section 163.1(3) of the Criminal Code.
The accused was released from a bail hearing and is to appear in court on July 27, 2015 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden.
