(South Dundas) – On July 9, 2015 at approximately 2:26am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on County Road 31, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated an adult male was in contravention of previous release conditions (Curfew, Keep the Peace and Be of Good Behaviour, Possess Non Prescribed Drugs and Not to Consume Alcohol). The Investigation also revealed that the male was in possession of a quantity of suspected marihuana.
The 20-year-old male from South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order YCJA (4 counts)
– Possession of Schedule II Cannabis Marijuana Under 30 grams
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
The name of the accused is being withheld as per guidelines of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
