(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 19 year old male and 23 year old female after police stopped a vehicle at a Robinson Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, July 9, 2015, at approximately 8:57 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Water Street, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated at a Robinson Street address.
As a result of investigation, police charged 19-year-old Dalton Jay CHANYI of Norfolk County, Ontario with driving while under suspension and drive motor vehicle, no currently validated permit contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
Charged with possession of Marihuana is 23-year-old, Jordan Christine KLASSEN of Tillsonburg, Ontario.
Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
