(Madoc, ON) – On July 10, 2015 at 7:20 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway # 62 near Bell Road in the Municipality of Centre Hastings. The vehicle was travelling 132 kilometres per hour in a posted 80 kilometre zone. As a result, 18 year old Tyler THURSTON of Belleville, ON was charged with Operate a Motor Vehicle While Performing a Stunt – Speeding contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. His driver’s licence was seized and his vehicle was impounded both for a period of seven days.
