(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members were called to a residence on the Sixth Concession of Burford, after the homeowner performed a citizen’s arrest on a youth committing a break and enter.
County of Brant OPP members attended the Sixth Concession Road address shortly after midnight on 12 July 2015 after they were called advising the homeowner had caught a youth breaking into his garage.
Police attended and arrested the youth who will appear in The Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
The County of Brant OPP want to remind the citizens of The County of Brant that if they see or hear someone committing a criminal offence they should get themselves and their family to a place of safety and call 9-1-1 immediately.
