Houman TODJAR-MAHADJERI – Breach, Loaded Firearm

(BRANT COUNTY, ON) –Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the Tim Hortons restaurant in Cainsville on Sunday 12 July 2015 at approximately 6:30 a.m. in response to a male party sleeping in his vehicle.

OPP investigators located the parked 2013 Ford F-150 with a lone male occupant. The male was sleeping in the driver’s seat with the vehicle still running. Police arrested the male after discovering a loaded firearm on the rear seat of the vehicle.

Police have charged 43-year-old Houman TODJAR-MAHADJERI of St. Catharines, Ontario with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:

Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order

Fail to Comply with Recognizance Order

Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The male was also charged for Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance under the Controlled Drugs and Substances act

He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date to answer to his charges.
