Mischief In Pembroke

(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Pembroke Detachment of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a complaint of mischief in the City of Pembroke. On the morning of July 15th police were contacted by City staff who reported that sometime overnight flowers were uprooted from nine (9) flowerboxes on the Lake Street Bridge. The damaged flowers were strewn about the bridge and many were not able to be replanted. Also, in recent weeks, two trees on the boulevard of Christie Street in the City were damaged.

Staff from the City of Pembroke and volunteers from the Communities in Bloom program work many hours to beautify the city.
