$4,500 Drug Bust

(SOUTH FRONTENAC TOWSNHIP, ON) – On July 15th 2015 members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Emergency Response Team, and K9 unit executed a controlled drugs and substances act search warrant at a residence in the Inverary area of South Frontenac Township.

Officers seized approximately half a pound of dry marihuana, marihuana plants and hydromorphone. A sawed off shotgun – a prohibited weapon – and several other firearms were also seized.

Two male occupants of the residence, both in their 40’s have been charged with production of marihuana, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone and firearms offences. The approximate potential street value of the seized drugs is estimated to be $4500.00

The accused were released on a Promise to Appear with a court date on September 3rd, 2015 in Kingston ON.
