Graham PROCTOR – Drunk Driving, More Than One Licence

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On July 18, 2015 at approximately 6:49 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Cobble Hills Road and Evelyn Drive.

A black Ford pickup truck was travelling eastbound on Evelyn Drive. It entered the intersection and was struck by a yellow Volkswagen car, travelling southbound on Cobble Hills Road. Evelyn Drive is governed by stop signs.

Police determined the driver of the pickup truck had been drinking alcohol. The male was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.

As a result of the police investigation, 31-year-old Graham PROCTOR, from Thames Centre, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He was further charged under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA) with fail to yield to traffic on through highway, and possess more than one licence.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on August 27, 2015.
