(PENETANGUISHENE, ON) – On July 19, 2015 at 10:57 p.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Ride check on Main Street in the Town of Penetanguishene, ON. The driver of 2003 white Chevrolet Silverado was approaching the RIDE check in a suspicious manner. After further investigation, officers found that the male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Terry JOHNSTON (age 53) of Barrie, ON has been charged with:
– Drive While Ability Impaired
– Over 80 mgs
The 2003 Chevrolet Silverado has been impounded for 7 days and the driver’s license suspended for 90 days. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on August 20, 2015.
