(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On July 19, 2015, just after 2:30 p.m., a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a Pontiac G8 on Highway 401 eastbound near Orford Road, for a speeding violation.
While the officer was speaking with the driver, 30-year-old Michael LANNOO, from Chatham, it was determined that he had been consuming alcoholic beverages.
Subsequent tests indicated that the driver was over the legal limit and he will appear in a Chatham court on August 11, 2015, to answer to the charge of Driving With More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol In Blood.
