(BRANT COUNTY, ON) –Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called by a homeowner reporting that items had been stolen from the back yard of their residence at approximately 5:00 p.m. on 23 July 2015.
OPP investigators contacted the homeowner from the Charles Street address and confirmed that unknown person(s) sometime overnight stole several items including a weed eater, push lawnmower and several hand tools.
The County of Brant OPP want to remind the public that you should always put your valuables away and if possible lock your sheds and garages. Items left out are easy targets for thieves.
County of Brant OPP are currently investigating this incident and are asking for assistance of the public to identify suspects. If you saw anything suspicious on Willow Street on late Friday night into early Saturday morning please contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122
