(South Stormont) – On July 16, 2015 at approximately 3:42pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a break-in at a camper on St.Lawrence Street, South Stormont Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime between 11:00pm on July 15, 2015 – 3:30am on July 16, 2015 culprit(s) forcibly entered the camper and removed 1 Stereo and 1 television.
On July 22, 2015 SD&G OPP Officers arrested three male youths in connection with the break in from July 16, 2015 and another mischief reported at the Foodland in Ingelside, Ontario.
A 16-year-old male from South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief Under $5000
– Break and Enter
A second 16-year-old male from South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief to Property Under $5000
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
A 17-year-old male from South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief Under $5000
– Break and Enter
– Theft Under $5000
The three youths were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on August 27, 2015.
The name of the accused is being withheld as per guidelines of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA
