(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 26, 2015 at approximately 9:08 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 2007 Chevrolet that was travelling on Wellington Road 21 near Wellington Road 7 in Centre Wellington Township.
While speaking with the driver, police immediately detected the strong odour of fresh marihuana. The driver surrendered to two marihuana cigarettes to the officer and he was placed under arrest. A baggie of suspected marihuana was located on the driver while being searched.
43-year-old David MILLIN of Lakeshore has been charged with Possession of a Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal court on August 28, 2015 to answer to this charge.
