(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Friday, July 24, 2015 at approximately 10:27 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a gas drive-off from the Ultramar Gas Station on Toronto Street North, Markdale, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Police investigated the theft and with the assistance of video surveillance were able to identify the suspect who pumped $19.15 worth of gas into a jerry can and left the property without attempting to pay for the gas.
20-year old Donald Drysdale MACNEILL, of the Municipality of West Grey, was charged with theft under $5000.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, July 30, 2015.
