(Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a vehicle after a traffic stop on Crowley Line just after 9:00pm last night. The male driver gave a false name to officers and was arrested.
Christopher BEACOM (age 53) of Toronto, ON is charged with:
Driving with more than 80mg of alcohol in his blood
Drive while disqualified
Obstruct Peace Officer
Personation
Drive Under suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
The accused is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Court on September 10, 2015.
