(PICTON, ON) – On August 3, 2015 at approximately 6:40pm, officers of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment responded to an altercation at a local restaurant on Main St. Picton.
As a result of the investigaiton, Stephen Maxwell GIBBS, 56 of Ameliasburgh Township is charged with Assault contary to section 266 of the Criminal Code. No one sustained injuries.
He was released on Promise to Appear and Officer-In-Charge Undertaking to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton, on September 2, 2015.
