(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a break and enter at a Boathouse Lane, Long Point, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, August 7, 2015 at approximately 8:49 a.m., police received a call from a concerned homeowner after they discovered that unknowns entered their boathouse.
Through investigation it was determined that between Tuesday, August 4, 2015 and Thursday, August 6, 2015, unknowns gained entry into a cottage boathouse. Once inside, unknowns removed a quantity hand tools and power tools consisting of Dewalt cordless drills, an angle grinder, and a radial arm saw.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
