(HALIBURTON, ON) – Shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Sunday August 16, 2015, members from the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a two vehicle collision on Highway 118 west of Loon Lake Road in the Township of Dysart et al.
Investigation revealed that west bound green Subaru Forester was in the east bound lane when it struck an east bound red Kia Sorento.
As a result of the collision, both female drivers sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
The driver of the Subaru, 73 year old Anna REISCHL has been charged with Careless Driving contrary to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.
