Tools and Welding Equipment Stolen

(North Kawartha Township, ON) – Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a break and enter at the North Kawartha Township garage on August 17 just before 6:00am.

Over the weekend suspect(s) cut the chains on the main gate and smashed a window to gain entry to the welding shop. Once inside thieves stole assorted tools, welding equipment and welding supplies worth just under $9000.

Investigators are actively looking for information that may lead to a suspect or suspect(s) in this case. Police urge the public to call in tips on this case, or others, to the non-emergency line (888) 310-1122 or to crime stoppers.
